Meet Lion Tom Baker

Lion Tom Baker lives in Phelps with his wife, Rosemary. They have three grown children, Gina, Greg, and Andy as well as four grandchildren. Lion Tom is a retired fourth grade teacher from the Midlakes Intermediate School. He has been honored in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers several times.

Lion Tom is active in St. Francis of Assisi Church in Phelps, having served as Parish Council President, a religious education teacher, and as a Eucharistic minister.

Lion Tom recently joined the Phelps Lions Club and already has worked on most of the club’s activities including broom and calendar sales, as well as the Sauerkraut festival and the Harvest Festival. He is excited about working toward all the good the club does in the community.

He is a Civil War buff and enjoys walking.
