Meet Lion Phil Sweeney

Philip "Philburt" Sweeney is the son of our Charter member John Sweeney and lives in Geneva.  Phil has retired from the Finger Lakes DDS after 18 years. He enjoys playing the piano and singing with the Finger Lakes Chorale for the past 30 years.

Phil has been a Lion with the Phelps Club for the past 10 years and has served as the secretary. His fondest memory of our club is the broom sales at the Phelps Sauerkraut festival.  His greatest joy in Lionism comes from helping others.
